We were founded in 1997 and updated our Incorporation name to Megawire Inc. in 2008 as a local Internet Service Provider (ISP), catering to rural areas of Southern Ontario where internet coverage was unavailable. Our founders identified an existing demand for high-quality internet and were determined to fulfill it..

Over the course of our 20-year history, we have established ourselves as the leading local ISP in Waterloo region and the surrounding area, working with a wide range of residential and business customers. During this time, our focus shifted towards delivering managed IT services for businesses across Ontario.

Training & Certifications

At Megawire, all of our technicians are professionally-certified with third-party vendors and receive extensive in-house training. Our in-house training includes job shadowing in the field, hands-on labs, and pre-selected, professional reading materials. All of the training materials and exercises are designed by our senior team members to prepare new employees for real-world scenarios.
